Light pollution

Light pollution has become a major and visible global environmental problem, and the light pollution from illuminated signs contributes greatly to overall light pollution. Several large organizations such as www.DarkSky.org have for many years shed light on the problem, which increases by 10% every year as described here. https://www.science.org/doi/10.1126/science.adf4952

NeoSign has solved the light pollution problem from illuminated signs as we use invisible UV rays which activate pigments in the NeoFilm so that the NeoFilm glows in warm and pleasant colors without light pollution.

And the 365 – 370 nm UV lights we use do not activate natural colors such as clouds, fog, snow, wool, etc.

Here the former Executive Director Bob Parks (2008 – 2014) of www.DarkSky.org explains about the huge light pollution problems as well as all the energy waste from outdoor lighting on CBS.

Both humans and animals suffer from the light pollution. After the LED lights came to the market, the light pollution is now increasing bu over 10% every year – and has become a major global environmental problem.

NeoGlass test

In this film we show that NeoGlass absorbs 99.7% of the invisible UV light that activates the NeoFilm. Neither visible nor invisible light comes out of NeoSign except for a slight glow from the NeoFilm colors.

Light pollution test

The 365 – 370 nm UV light – or Black Light Blue does not activate natural colors such as snow, clouds, fog, wool etc. etc. Here you see that the white snow does not activate at all.
